Through valleys of data, he roamed far and wide,

In the realm of technology, where dreams collide,

To harness the potential that pixels provide.

 

His journey through renders and shaders was tough,

But a fire in his heart told him, “Go on, you’re enough!”

Through the wastelands of bottlenecks, he’d fought and he’d huff,

He crossed the mountains of clock speed, scaling the heights,

Over RAM and VRAM, where transistors alight,

The sweat and the struggle, they all seemed fair.

 

With victory in hand, he returned to the fray,

Rendering worlds of wonder, where heroes would play,

In the blink of an eye, he’d sculpt and portray,

The dreams of tomorrow, a new world each day.

 

For in search of a GPU, he’d ventured so far,

Through struggles and trials, he’d earned every scar,

And now with his prize, he’d reach for the stars,

A master of rendering, a graphical czar.

So I travel from shop to shop, hoping to find the one,

The GPU that will make my gaming experience second to none.

 

But as the days pass by, my hopes begin to fade,

Will I ever find my GPU, or must I settle for a downgrade?

 

Yet still I press on, determined to succeed,

To find the GPU that’s perfect, the one I really need.

 

And then at last, my search is over, my quest has reached its end,

I’ve found my GPU, my loyal companion and friend.

 

So now I sit and game, with the best graphics in sight,

All thanks to my perseverance, and my unwavering fight.

But they are all sold out or too expensive

I’ve been looking online for days and days

But I can’t find anything that’s comprehensive

 

I’ve tried to bid on auctions and wait for deals

But I always lose to scalpers and bots

I’ve asked my friends if they have any leads

But they all say they don’t have any slots

 

I’m starting to lose hope and feel frustrated

I just want to enjoy some graphics and speed

But every time I think I’ve finally made it

I get a message that says “out of stock” or “out of my league”

 

Maybe I should give up and play something else

Or maybe I should wait for the next generation

But I don’t want to miss out on the fun and the bells

Or settle for something that’s below my expectation

 

So I keep on searching for a GPU

Hoping that one day I’ll find the one

That fits my budget and my needs too

And lets me have some gaming fun

That was impressive, I guess. GPT3.5 is the least prolific. GPT4 is very wordy. Bing feels like the kind of poetry I read in English Lit in middle school.

I have signed up for Bard’s witlist, so hopefully, there will be another contestant in these slams. But for a first iteration, this was not bad.
