| In a city of hustle, where traffic ignites,
A rule is remembered, through days and through nights,
A mantra for drivers, a beacon of rights, The law of the asphalt, right on red it recites.
As wheels spin and engines hum low, The drivers set forth, their minds all aglow, With the knowledge that right on red they can go, A rhythm of movement, a synchronized flow.
At each intersection, a choice to be made, To stop or proceed, to go or to stay, The crimson light beckons, a dance to be played, But right on red brings freedom, unswayed.
So they turn the wheel gently, and into the fray, Their tires grip pavement, a new road to lay, Right on red, they know, is the path to obey, For it keeps them in motion, without a delay.
The city breathes easier, the streets undismayed, As cars find their way, in a choreographed parade, The right on red rule, a trust not betrayed, A beacon of hope, in a world that can fade.
For in each driver’s heart, the mantra rings true, That right on red is the law to pursue, A symbol of progress, a sign to construe, That the road lies ahead, and the journey anew.
So right on red, we’ll follow the creed, A promise of motion, in time of need, As the city pulses, and our hearts take heed, Right on red, a rule to succeed. |
Right on red, the signal says,
As I wait in traffic’s maze.
I watch the world rush on ahead, But I am stopped, just seeing red.
I check my mirrors left and right, I turn my blinkers on just right, And then I see the perfect gap, To make my move without mishap.
I ease my foot upon the gas, And soon I’m free from traffic’s grasp. I feel the wind upon my face, As I pick up my cruising pace.
Right on red, a simple thing, Yet it can make my heart sing. The freedom of the open road, With nothing to slow down my load.
So here’s to right on red, my friend, A signal that can help us blend, Into the rhythm of the street, Where we can drive without defeat. |
When the traffic light is red
And you want to go ahead
You can turn right if it’s clear But be careful and don’t veer
Right on red is not a must It’s a privilege and a trust You should always yield and stop And look out for cops and mopeds
Right on red can save you time But it’s not worth a hefty fine Or a crash that hurts your head So be smart and right on red |
Red light, green light, stop and go,
But sometimes, right on red, you can go.
Just make sure it’s safe, and look both ways, Before you make your turn, and don’t delay.
Right on red, it’s a great convenience, It can save you time, and it can save you patience. But don’t abuse it, and don’t be reckless, Because if you are, you could get yourself wrecked.
So next time you’re stopped at a red light, Remember that you can turn right, if it’s right. Just be safe, and be smart, And you’ll be on your way in no time flat. |
GPT4 as usual, is very expressive. Both GPT’s are certainly equating Right on Red with freedom, which is interesting. Bing on the other hand is advising caution, while also being the least wordy amongst our contestants today. Bard, our new LLM, is also singing Bing’s tunes – who would have thought.
It is pretty remarkable that all bots actually knew what Right on Red was about, and were able to craft poetic notes around the subject.
